How To Setup Your Blog’s RSS Feed

In a previous post I wrote about “10 Things That I Look For On Your Blog“.

So today, I thought it would be great to show you exactly how to make sure that your blog readers can subscribe to your RSS Feed.

Now as you may already be aware there are 2 different ways in which you can ask your readers to subscribe to your blog’s feed.

  1. The first way is to subscribe to your RSS Feed by using a feedreader service like Google Reader.
  2. The second way is to subscribe to your blog’s RSS Feed by email.

The smartest thing to do here is to ensure you offer both options to all your readers.

Watch the 2 part video screencast tutorial below to learn how to get your RSS Feed working:

Note: The scratching noise you hear in the background is my dog walking on the wood floor. She needs her nails cut (sorry!).

How do you like subscribing to blogs? Via email or RSS?
